pleased with the advice about attaching a tray to the bottom of the nyger feeder (apolgies to the member of GBS forum for not remembering who it was)when you see how much is in the tray after just a few hours.However it does help the treesparrows who seem to like it too

Lovely pics Sheila, i got some trays the other day, and like you, i was amazed to see how much was in the bottom!!!To think, all that was going on the floor! What a waste! x
thanks Karen,not only the waste but what I thought was just a little layer of seedlings was like a thick carpet.still trying to get rid of it from the garden
