thanks for your lovely comments.I am taking a lot of credit when I am just so lucky to be sitting comfortably looking straight onto the stream and have my point and shoot camera at the ready.I have to admit that I was praying they wouldnt move until I got camera focused then just kept my finger on the button.I must be the laziest person taking photos.

Great photos Sheila, if you're getting the young Greenfinches the young Goldfiches will be there any day, I'm sure. As for the Woodpecker again, sob sob sob!!! ;)

Great pics. I'm still waiting to see more babies, you're so lucky to have so many. It's a testiment to your dedicated feeding during the winter months, it really pays off in the breeding season.

Mac thanks for your kind comments I am pleased I joined the GBS forum where I was advised of sunflower hearts which brought in the finches.A costly thing feeding these birds but boy are they paying me back now.
