The hard work in the winter digging the pond has finally paid off.The duckweed is a bit rampant but at least it makes it look natural(and hides some of the liner)Plenty of tadpoles so expecting some little froglets soon. The birds just love to drink and bathe in it

your pond is beautiful sheila, a credit to you both, i can just picture you both sat on the bench watching the wonderous things going on in the pond, !!brilliant!!.
How lovely to be able to sit there and gaze at your handiwork and all the wildlife that you have encouraged, lovely Sheila.
seems I am always thanking you for your lovely kind comments. At the moment we cant sit on the seat as the wrens nest is just two feet in front of it and we dont want to disturb it.
Sheila
Hi Sheia.
You are a lucky lady to have wrens nesting in your garden.
Nice of you to add a pond to your garden.By the way sweetheart, we all have weedy overgrown bits.
Bet you dont have as much weedy bits as me Ken lol
