I think my daughter would like to use the gel that starling uses lol. That water is great for your birds, Sheila, I will get some water in my garden one day (year!).

I think I need to get a bird bath too. My next door but one neighbours have one (they got rid of their bird table though!?!!). My tiny pond is in a raised bed and not suitable for the birds.

The stream is one of my best ideas ever.We get so much pleasure from the birds that love it.It more than makes up for all the falling out when digging and making it as well as the problems of leaks etc we have had.As I have said before the stream pumps from my fish pond but the birds, including the pheasants often drink and bathe in the wildlife pond which takes no maintainance apart from removing leaves etc.Just a hole dug, liner,a couple of plants and gravel.Doesnt even have to be of any size really.

Just lovely Sheila and the birds are getting such enjoyment, almost as much as we are!
